Policies and Procedures Manual

In accordance with the provisions of the Florida Statutes, the District maintains a Policies and Procedures Manual that is available to the public. The Manual presents and discusses items including District organization, agenda formulation and execution, processing of permits that affect works of the District, the budget process, policies and procedures, etc. Periodic revisions including deletions, additions, and amendments are made to maintain consistency with Florida Statutes and other codes and rules.

  • Board of Supervisors Meeting - March 20, 2025

    The Board of Supervisors March meeting will be held Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Stephen J. Hinkle District Work Center, 15600 Jupiter Farms Road, Jupiter, FL 33478. The meeting will also be available via Zoom audio/video conferencing. If you would like to attend the meeting via Zoom use the following link:

    Board of Supervisors March 20, 2025, Monthly Meeting

    After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. During the meeting everyone will be muted and video turned off. Landowners are requested to provide comments and requests to speak prior to the meeting via email at sirwcd@sirwcd.org. The comments will be heard during the Landowners’ Items, and you will be allowed 3 minutes on each item of the agenda you wish to speak about. Comments only are allowed during the Board Meeting. If you have any questions to ask the Board or staff, please speak with them prior to, or after the meeting, contact them via email, or call the District Office.

    NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that if a person decides to appeal any decision with respect to any matter considered at a meeting, a record of the proceedings will be needed for such purpose, and such person will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record shall include the testimony and evidence upon which any appeal is to be made.

    Pursuant to the provision of the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person requiring special accommodations to participate in the Board of Supervisors meetings because of a disability or physical impairment should contact the District office at 561-747-0550.

  • 31st Annual Landowners Family Day

    The 31st Annual Landowners Family Day will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Come by and meet the Supervisors and Staff. There will be a barbeque lunch, community exhibitors, entertainment by the Tom Jackson Band, and fun for the kids with face painting, pony rides, and a petting zoo.   • Canal C Realignment Project in Palm Beach Country Estates

    Beginning February 6, 2025, South Indian River Water Control District will be performing reconstruction activities on Canal C between 159th Court North and 160th Lane North in Palm Beach Country Estates. The contractor is estimating that the project will take two months, depending on weather and other circumstances. This will involve significant dump truck activity on the main roadways. Work will be conducted on Mondays through Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Please drive with caution.

  • Results of Palm Beach Country Estates Roadway Improvement Referenda

    The results of the referenda for roadway paving on seven roads in Palm Beach Country Estates were presented at the January 16, 2025, Board of Supervisors Meeting. Visit our Referenda Page for the results.

    Re-elected Board Members Sworn In, New Board Member Appointed

    John Meyer and Susan Kennedy, who were re-elected in the 2024 election, were sworn in by District Attorney Seth Behn at the December 5th Board of Supervisors meeting for three-year terms. In addition, due to the untimely passing of Supervisor John Jones, Beth McElroy, a resident of Palm Beach Country Estates, was appointed to fill the reminder of his term through September 2025.   • 2024 Board of Supervisors Election Results

    The District has received the 2024 Board of Supervisors’ certified election results from Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections, Wendy Sartory Link, on November 6, 2024. Supervisors Susan Kennedy and John Meyer were re-elected to the Board. Please visit our Elections Page for complete election results.

  • Solid Waste Authority

    Trash and garbage removal is provided by Solid Waste Authority in the District. Should any damage result to swales or easements when landscape debris is picked up, please call the Solid Waste Authority Customer Information Services Department at 561-697-2700.

  • Updated Policies and Procedures Manual Approved by Board of Supervisors

    The Board of Supervisors approved the District's updated and revised Policies and Procedures Manual at their February 15, 2024 Board meeting. A minor revision was added on May 15, 2024.
