South Indian River Water Control District Vegetation Management Services
South Indian River Water Control District is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to furnish all supervision, management and labor personnel, equipment, and materials as necessary for removing, reducing, and managing unwanted vegetation (both aquatic and terrestrial) in the District's stormwater management system in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in the Request for Proposal.

Public Meeting - Request for Proposals Selection Committee
September 11, 2024
A Public Meeting was held Wednesday, September 11, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for the opening of bids submitted to South Indian River Water Control DIstrict for the Request for Proposals for Vegetation Management Services. At this meeting, the selection committee evaluated the proposals received in response to RFP No. 2024-001. The Board of Supervisors, at their September 19, 2024, Board Meeting, authorized the committee to negotiate with the ranked bidders to fufill the contract for Vegetation Management Servcies. Notice of Final Ranking RFP 2024-001: South Indian River Water Control District Vegetation Management Services Notice of Final Ranking
On August 7, 2024, the South Indian River Water Control District issued “Request for Proposals 2024-001: SIRWCD Vegetation Management Services” pursuant to its Procurement Policy. The solicitation was advertised for thirty-five (35) calendar days. On September 4, 2024, the District received eight (8) proposals. Staff reviewed the eight (8) proposals for responsiveness, and all were deemed responsive.
On September 11, 2024, the Evaluation Selection Committee evaluated the proposals to determine the highest ranked proposers. After discussing the proposals, the Committee assigned points for the technical criteria to determine the technical scores of the proposals. Next, the price proposals were scored in accordance with the recommended formula. The price proposal scores were added to the technical scores to determine the initial ranking of proposers. The Committee re-reviewed the proposals to create the final ranking.

The Evaluation Selection Committee included the following individuals:

The District Board of Supervisors reviewed the final rankings and authorized the Executive Director to award the contract to Wetlands Management LLC, at its meeting on November 6, 2024.
